Health Testing

Every dog in our breeding program undergoes comprehensive genetic testing and orthopedic evaluations. This is the foundation of responsible breeding.

All breeding dogs receive Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) evaluations for hips, elbows, and patellas. We also perform annual CAER (Companion Animal Eye Registry) exams to monitor eye health.

Inherited eye condition that can affect vision in herding breeds.

Affects uric acid metabolism and can cause bladder stones.

Progressive spinal cord disease affecting hind limb mobility.

Genetic form of cataracts that can lead to vision impairment.
